Eric Rodgers a proper send-off in his final home match after 37 years in charge of the Kohawk program, picking up a 4-1 victory over Wartburg College in the A-R-C semifinals. Coe started with the doubles point, winning at numbers one and three. Senior tandem
Grant Idoux and
Ivan Burt-Smith opened the match with a 6-0 victory at number three before the top Kohawk pairing of
Jumpei Kasai and
Bryton Short won 6-3 to secure the team point.
Joshua Tiemann made it 2-0 with the first decision in singles, winning 6-1, 6-1 ahead of a 6-0, 6-0 shutout victory for
Anthony Schulte at number one.
Luke Doig secured the match-clinching point at the number four singles spot, winning 6-2, 7-5 in straight sets. Wartburg claimed consolation at number three with a decision before the matches at numbers five and six were suspended before completion.
