CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The American Rivers Conference announced its 2026 Men's Tennis postseason awards on Wednesday afternoon, recognizing seven total Kohawks in the release. Freshman
Anthony Schulte took the spotlight for the Coe men, earning the program's second straight A-R-C Rookie of the Year title after an impressive first campaign with the Kohawks. Schulte highlighted seven total A-R-C postseason selections for Coe, with
Joshua Tiemann, Bryton Short, Daniel Rohlman, Jumpei Kasai, Ivan Burt-Smith, and
Luke Doig being honored in the release. Schulte, Tiemann, Short, Rohlman, and Kasai led the selections, being named all-conference in singles and doubles, while Burt-Smith and Doig picked up honorable mention selections.
Schulte, a Cedar Rapids native, was 4-1 in conference singles matches and 6-0 in doubles, playing four singles matches at the top spot and four doubles matches at number two. Tiemann, the 2025 A-R-C Rookie of the Year, was 3-1 in singles and 5-0 in doubles, playing matches at all three positions during his unbeaten run. Rohlman, a sophomore from Charlotte, was 3-1 in singles, winning matches at numbers two, three and four while going unbeaten with a 4-0 record in doubles. Kasai, a junior from Tokyo, rounded out Coe's all-conference singles and doubles selections after going 4-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles.
Burt-Smith ended his college career with an honorable mention selection, posting a 2-0 record in singles and a dominant 5-0 mark in doubles with a pair of wins at the top spot. Doig, a junior from Queensland, was 5-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles as he earned honorable mention recognition, going 2-0 at both number three and number five in singles.
