Men's Basketball earns 14th consecutive academic excellence award from NABC, Five Kohawks named to NABC Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced its 2025-26 Honors Court and Team Academic Excellence Awards earlier this week. For the 14th straight year, the Coe College men's basketball team earned the academic excellence award while Cooper Nailor, Kanyon Bryte, Levi Rubin, Ryan Dolphin and Zach Strauss all were named to the NABC Honors Court.

"College basketball student-athletes do incredible things on the court, but their achievements in the classroom are equally worthy of celebration," said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. "Education is one of the NABC's core values, and the hundreds of programs and thousands of athletes represented on these awards reinforce the commitment to academic success that exists across all levels of our sport."

The team awards recognize outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better for the 2025-26 season. The Honors Court recognizes upperclassmen who have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher after the 2025-26 academic year.
