Cornell managed to find the end zone early in the second quarter, leveling the game with a 30-yard touchdown pass before seeing out the remaining time in the half to be tied at the break. Coe quickly came to life in the third quarter, scoring on three straight drives as
Andrew White, Brady Kelly, and
Caden Jones each recorded rushing TDs. The Coe offense piled on more in the fourth, getting three more rushing touchdowns to cap the dominant performance. Coe's defense set the tone early on and bounced back from the early score, totaling four interceptions, three sacks, and one forced fumble. The Kohawks rushed for 286 total yards in the victory and six touchdowns, led by
Quincy Drummer who had 99 yards and one touchdown.

- Kingsbury benefited from a tipped ball by Jack Clarahan for Coe's opening score, corralling the floating ball near the 33-yard line before sprinting past the chasing Rams for 7-0. The Kohawks went scoreless on their following two drives, failing to convert on fourth and short both times. Cornell's lone scoring drive started at its four, getting a huge 59-yard pass play on third and medium to get out of its territory and move into attack. Two plays later, the Rams struck, connecting for a 30-yard score that stunned the Kohawk defense. Coe again failed a fourth-and-short try on its next drive, stalling at the Cornell 27 after nine plays got the Kohawks into scoring range. A late second-quarter fumble set Coe up with a scoring chance in the final seconds, but time ran out as the Kohawks controlled the ball inside the red zone. The first scoring drive of the second half took just five plays as Drummer got things started with a 25-yard catch-and-run where he made a few defenders miss. Back-to-back chunk plays from Kelly to Jeron Senters and Jackson Baethke set up the short plunge for White, who punched it in from four yards for 14-7. The Kohawks made it 21 on the next drive, forcing a quick punt after four plays from the Rams. Kelly this time did it with his feet, scrambling through the middle of the Ram defense before beating two players to the goal line and crossing for a 22-yard score. The Kohawks made it three-for-three in the quarter, getting a highlight-reel 57-yard score from Jones, who juked a pair of defenders and spun one on his way to the end zone. Coe's offense took over at midfield with 3:18 left in the quarter, putting together a quick-striking drive to move into a goal-to-go situation. Drummer joined the party at the start of the fourth quarter, rushing in from one yard on fourth down to make it 35-7. Jordan Williams set the next score up for Coe, picking off a pass inside Cornell's own territory before returning it to the 10. Joshua Mitchell needed just two plays to find pay dirt, scampering nine yards to the one before falling in for 42-7. The final scoring drive came midway through the fourth as Mitchell started the march with back-to-back runs of 13 and 19. An unsportsmanlike conduct penalty from Cornell moved the ball inside the red zone before Uchenna Uduji-John scored from three yards out.
