CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College women's soccer team fell in its final home match of the 2022 season on Wednesday evening, suffering a 7-0 defeat to #17/14 Loras College at Clark Field. The Duhawks started the scoring early on, getting their first goal just four minutes into the match. The lead quickly grew over the next 20 minutes as the visitors added two more goals before the 30-minute mark. Loras, which held a 3-0 advantage after 45 minutes, scored four times in the second half. All four tallies came in the first 15 minutes of the period as the hosts saw out the victory for the remainder of the match. The loss drops Coe to 1-14-1 and 1-6 in the A-R-C while Loras improves to 12-0-3 and 6-0 in the league.

- Loras took advantage of set pieces early in the match, scoring the opening goal from a corner kick as Ryleigh O'Brien rose above the Kohawk defenders to make it 1-0. Coe responded immediately, putting pressure on the visitors as Tristyn Perez registered a shot on target but saw it saved by the Duhawk keeper. Loras then scored from another corner in the eighth minute, increasing its advantage to 2-0. The visitors added one more goal before the end of the half, scoring in the 23rd for a 3-0 lead. The pressure continued in the second half for Coe, conceding four more goals in the first 15 minutes of the period. The Kohawks and Duhawks battled for the remainder of the contest with the hosts maintaining momentum until the final whistle.
