MARION, Iowa - The Coe College men's golf team continued its fall season on Saturday and Sunday, competing at Mount Mercy's Klocke Family Classic at Hunters Ridge Golf Course. Junior Alec Brockmeyer led the the Kohawks with a T14 finish, posting rounds of 77 and 78 to place inside the top-20. Matt Lawton joined Brockmeyer in the top-20, recording scores of 79 and 80 to earn a T20 finish. Sam Scully and Gavin Jennings, who competed as individuals for Coe, turned in two solid rounds each, finishing T27 and T34 respectively. As a team, the Kohawks finished ninth overall, posting a final total of 646. Kirkwood Community College claimed the team title while the Eagles' Kolby Shackelford earned individual medalist honors.
