WAVERLY, Iowa – The Coe College men's golf team finished off the Wartburg Fall Invite Sunday, playing the final 18 holes of action at Prairie Links Golf Course. The Kohawk men were led by freshman
Tyler Santi who shot a team-best one-under par 71. The Indianola native recorded five birdies on his round en route to a sixth-place finish and helped Coe's top team finish fourth overall.
Sam Scully and
Jackson Pipho matched one another on Sunday with 74s while
Tommy Kulesza rounded out Coe's top team scores with a 75.
Caden Weddingfeld was just behind with a 76, concluding a solid tournament from the top squad.
C. Reece Breitenbach led Coe's second team with a solid round of 73, making three birdies as he vaulted up the leaderboard to finish tied for eighth individually.
Mitchell Katz, Lane Pierson and
Karl Liedtke made up the remaining scores for Coe's second team on Sunday, shooting 76, 78 and 79 respectively.
