CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Coe College senior volleyball player
Kate Tidman was named the American Rivers Conference's Female Athlete of the week earlier today in the league's weekly award release. Tidman, who led the Kohawks to a 4-1 record last week, is earning her fourth A-R-C player of the week honor. Kate racked up 61 kills in the four victories, helping Coe defeat Cornell and St. Olaf, which were both earning votes in last week's AVCA top-25 poll. Tidman posted an attacking percentage of .271 throughout the stretch, adding 58 digs and seven blocks on defense. The pin hitter recorded a season-high 19 kills in Coe's defeat to unbeaten UW-Platteville, its lone loss of the tournament.
