CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Coe College sophomore Madison Schultz was picked as the first American Rivers Conference women's tennis performer of the week award for the 2022-23 seasons. Schultz, who is the reigning MVP, had a perfect start to her second season in crimson and gold. The Jasper, Georgia native was 4-0 at #1 singles and #1 doubles, leading the Kohawks to a pair of A-R-C victories over Central and Simpson. In singles, Schultz lost just three total games while earning 8-4 and 8-3 wins in doubles with Jania Carter-Johnson. The award is the second of Schultz's career as she earned the honor in September of 2021.
