JOHNSTON, Iowa - The Coe College dance team competed for the first time in 2023 on Sunday, competing at the NDA Iowa Regional Championships. The Kohawk Dance squad took home a trio of first-place trophies at the event, earning the title of Regional Champions in the Jazz, Hip Hop and Pom disciplines. "I am so proud of the team and our dances for their great performances," coach Taylor Abraham said. "The girls have come together throughout the competition season and grown as dancers to put forth one of their best efforts yet!". 
 
Up next: The Kohawks will return to action in two weeks on Saturday, January 28 at the Dance Challenge hosted by NIACC.
