CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College women's soccer team suffered a defeat to Luther College on Saturday evening at Clark Field, dropping a 6-0 decision to the Norse. The Kohawks kept the Norse off the board for the opening 25 minutes of the match, holding the visitors to just one shot on goal in the early moments. Luther scored its opening goal in the 26th minute and later added its second in the 38th minute, grabbing a 2-0 lead at the break. The visitors pushed for more in the second half and scored four more times en route to the victory.

- The Kohawks did well in the early moments of the game, causing issues for the hosts with a slight formation tweak. Coe allowed just one shot on target in the opening 25 minutes of the game, an attempt that Lilly Monroe saved with ease. The Kohawks earned their first corner of the game in the 18th minute but failed to capitalize on the set piece chance. Luther took the lead minutes later scoring from its own corner to make it 1-0. The Norse doubled the lead before the end of the half, making it 2-0 in the 38th. The visitors quickly put the game on ince in the first 15 minutes of hte second half, scoring twice in ten minutes to make it 4-0. The final two goals were scored in the last 10 minutes with Luther increasing the advantage to six.
