DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Coe College women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 defeat on the road on Wednesday evening, falling 3-0 the University of Dubuque. Coe was out-shot by the hosts in the game and surrendered two first half goals as UD jumped ahead 2-0 just 23 minutes in. The Spartans added the third and final goal in the second half, making it 3-0 in the 55th minute to ensure the victory.

GAME FACTS
- Dubuque started quickly with a handful of corners and a shots in the first few minutes. Lilly Monroe came up with the opening highlight of the half, saving a penalty kick less than 10 minutes in to keep it scoreless. UD refused to slow down the pace and took the lead a few moments later, making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. The Spartans doubled the advantage less than ten minutes later, taking a 2-0 lead into the half. Dubuque wrapped up the game early in the second half, scoring its third goal in the 55th minute. Ella Weber tried her best to get Coe back into the match in the 62nd minute, firing a shot on goal the opposing keeper made the save to keep the Kohawks off the board.
