STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Coe College volleyball team got back to winning ways on Saturday afternoon, sweeping the Buena Vista University Beavers on the road. Coe dominated the hosts from the opening whistle, securing winning margins of 25-19, 25-18 and 25-9 in the three sets. The Beavers hit -.009 as a team and recorded just 19 total kills as Coe picked up its third A-R-C win of the season.

- Coe and Buena Vista both started slow in the match, combining for just 16 kills in the opening set. Despite the offensive struggles, the Kohawks pulled out a 25-19 win as they closed the period with three-straight points. BVU started well in set two, erasing an early deficit with a 6-1 run to take a 7-5 lead. Coe then ripped off its own dominant stretch, scoring nine of 11 points to regain a 15-9 lead, which it held for the remainder of the set. The Kohawks finished the sweep in the third, posting their best attacking percentage of the match at .382. Coe opened up a quick 10-2 lead and never looked back, holding the Beavers to just nine points in the decider.
