AMES, Iowa - The Coe College women's golf team completed a record-setting performance on Monday afternoon at the American Rivers Conference Championships, finishing third place overall to post the team's highest-ever finish at the tournament. Coe finished with a three-day total of 966, smashing the previous 54-hole record of 1,014 strokes from the 2021 season.
Molly Baker and
Morgan Cain continued with the historic efforts for the Kohawks, becoming the first two teammates to earn all-conference honors at the same tournament. Baker finished in a tie for seventh after posting a third-round 83, ending the tournament with a three-day total of 241. Cain followed suit with a tenth-place finish, ending her tournament with an 84 to post a 54-hole total of 242.
Anja Mills and
Kye Daywitt were just a few strokes outside the all-conference positions for Coe, finishing 12th and tied for 13th respectively.
Megan Tanghe carded a third-round 83 on Monday afternoon, posting a two-day score of 155.
