MUSCATINE, Iowa - The Coe College men's golf team completed play at the American Rivers Conference Championships on Saturday, playing the final 18 holes of competition at Geneva Golf & Country Club. The Kohawks finished fifth in the team standings, jumping two spots from their finish in the 2022 season. For the second-straight day Coe turned in a team score of 323, finishing the tournament with a total of 962 strokes across 54 holes.
Lucas Geiger was Coe's top finisher, claiming a tie for 15th place with a three-day total of 237. Geiger was joined in the top 30 by all four of his teammates with
James Carsrud, Collin Brockmeyer, Sam Scully and
Alec Brockmeyer sneaking inside the line. Scully turned in Coe's lowest third-round score with an 80 while Carsrud and
Alec Brockmeyer joined Geiger with rounds of 81. Luther took home the team trophy and individual medalist honors as Haakon Rustad claimed the top spot on the leader board with a total score of 219, six-over par.
