STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Coe College women's golf team picked up its first team victory of the 2023 fall season over the weekend, taking home the top spot at the Buena Vista Invite on Saturday and Sunday. The Koahwks, who shot a two-day total of 673, were led by senior
Megan Tanghe as she posted a 36-hole mark of 153 to earn individual medalist honors. As a team, Coe beat second-place Iowa Central by three shots and third-place Waldorf by six.
Anja Mills also had a strong individual showing for the Kohawks, tying for 11th place after a strong second round of 82.
Kye Daywitt and
Madison Connolly also finished inside the top-20 on the individual leaderboard, posting two-day totals of 173 and 175 respectively.
