CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College women's golf team won a two-round triangular against Loras and Mount Mercy on Sunday, firing a second-round total of 328 to finish with a total score of 667. The Kohawks, who defeated second-place Mount Mercy by 16 shots, were led by
Megan Tanghe who earned her second-straight individual medalist honor with a two-day total of 155. Tanghe followed up a strong opening 78 with a 77 on Sunday, record one of just four rounds in the 70s.
Kye Daywitt shot 82 for the second day running, finishing fourth as Coe's second-best individual.
Morgan Cain and
Anja Mills both shaved numerous strokes off their opening round scores and finished sixth and seventh after second rounds of 84 and 85.
Kamryn Stockton joined Tanghe in the 70s club on Sunday, shooting a 78 to launch up the leaderboard and finish 14th overall.
