MONMOUTH, Ill. - The Coe College women's soccer team closed out its non-conference schedule with its fourth-straight win, defeating Monmouth College 3-1 on the road on Wednesday evening. The Kohawks got a pair of goals in the opening half from
Ella Weber who scored her fourth and fifth goals of the season.
Jordan Rosas registered assists on both of Weber's goals, bringing her season total to three.
Rebecca Allers added Coe's final goal in the 29th minute, extending the advantage to three with her first goal of the season. Monmouth scored its lone goal just three minutes later, bringing life back into the game but the Kohawks regained momentum and dominated the final half of play en route to the win.

- Weber forced an early save just over four minutes into the match, firing Coe's first shot on target. The Kohawks opened the scoring in the 8th minute with Weber netting her first of the game. The visitors continued to pepper the Fighting Scot goal over the next few moments of the match, firing two shots towards goal while earning a pair of corners. The lead was doubled in the 26th minute as Weber added her second, scoring again after an assist from Rosas.
- Allers secured her first goal of the season less than three minutes later, making it 3-0 less than 30 minutes into the match. Monmouth got one back in the 32nd minute, taking advantage of a strong spell to pull itself back into striking distance. Lilly Monroe came up big in the first few minutes of the second half, making three early saves to keep Coe's two-goal lead intact. Coe regained control of the match around the 60-minute mark, holding the hosts without a shot for the final 30 minutes.
