Box Score DECORAH, Iowa - The Coe College volleyball team opened American Rivers Conference play on Wednesday evening on the road, defeating Luther College 3-0. Coe opened the match with a strong first set, forcing six Luther errors while recording 10 kills in the period. The Kohawks followed with an impressive offensive display in the second, attacking at a .342 clip with 19 kills and two service aces. Coe closed out the match with a dominant third set, ripping off a 10-4 run early in the frame to gain momentum.

GAME FACTS
- Both teams started the match slowly, combining for just 20 kills in the opening set. Coe edged the hosts 25-17 in the period despite hitting .200, taking advantage of Luther's six attacking errors and three service errors. The Kohawk offense came to life in the second set, posting 19 kills and a .342 attack percentage to take a 2-0 lead. The visitors completed the sweep in dominating fashion in the third, defeating Luther 25-15 as the Norse committed eight total errors in the period. Maggie Furlong had a team-high 10 kills for Coe while Maddy Maahs and Madi Parson led the team with 15 and 12 digs each.
