CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College women's soccer team fell in its final home match of the 2024 season, dropping a 5-0 decision to Loras on Saturday evening. The Duhawks, who clinched at least a share of the regular season A-R-C title with the win, scored in the first five minutes of the match and quickly doubled the lead in the eighth minute. Loras scored once more in the first half and found the back of the net twice in the second half. The Duhawks registered 35 shots in the match including 20 on target as
Ashton Proctor and
Lilly Monroe combined for 14 total saves.

GAME FACTS
- Loras got the goals early in the contest, scoring the first with a well-worked team move. The second goal also had a pair of assists as the Duhawks made some incisive passes through the Coe defense to go up 2-0. The Kohawk defense tightened the lines momentarily for much of the remaining first half but Loras found one more before the halftime whistle, extending the lead to 3-0 in the 25th minute. The Duhawks pressed for more in the second half and added two to their lead, cashing in with goals in the 63rd and 68th minute to put the game away for good.
