Women's Bowling wins Midwest Collegiate Championships

WAUWATOSA, Wisc. – The Coe College Women's Bowling team made program history with a team championship at the Midwest Collegiate Championships over the weekend, bringing home the trophy from one of the top tournaments throughout the country. The women finished third in the team qualifying standings, posting a team total of 4734 to qualify for the knockout brackets. The Kohawks then cruised through the competition, defeating UW-Whitewater, Saint Xavier and St. Ambrose to claim the team championship. Katrina Kendle led the way individually for the Kohawks, placing ninth overall on the leaderboard with a tournament average of 209.6. Whittney Morse joined Kendle in the top-25 with a tournament average of 198.6, finishing 25th overall. Lauren Bodman, Kali Johnson and Shelby Logston concluded the top individual finishes for the Kohawks, placing 73rd, 152nd and 181s respectively.
