CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College women's soccer team suffered a defeat to non-conference opponent Augsburg University on Sunday afternoon at Clark Field, falling 7-0 to the visiting Auggies. The Kohawks went behind early in the match, conceding the first goal in the 6th minute. The opponents would add three more goals in the opening half and later pad their lead with three second-half tallies. Coe registered a pair of shots in the match and got its lone shot on target from freshman
Maggie Preuss, who forced a solid save late in the second half.

GAME FACTS
- The Auggies first goal came inside the opening six minutes, striking with their second shot of the match. The visitors went on to score three more times in the frame, notching goals in the 11th, 25th and 44th to pad the lead. Augsburg added to quick-fire goals in the 70th and 71st minutes and later put the icing on the cake with a seventh goal in the 82nd minute.
