CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College women's soccer team cruised to its third straight victory on Sunday afternoon, defeating Knox College 4-0 at Clark Field. The Kohawks opened the scoring early in the match, getting the first goal from a set piece as a deflected ball came off
Dessa Snyder. Maggie Preuss found the back of the net for the next two goals, scoring in the 10th and 16th minute to pad the Kohawk advantage. The hosts put the game out of reach early in the second half as
Mac Adams finished off an attacking move that Preuss started. Coe saw out the closing minutes of the game, threatening to add to its lead while keeping Knox at bay.

GAME FACTS
- Coe was on the front foot from the opening whistle, getting the opener inside the first eight minutes. The Kohawks scored the first from a set piece as Jordan Rosas played a perfect ball near the keeper, bouncing around and off Snyder into the goal. Preuss netted the next two goals for the Kohawks, scoring both times with outstanding individual effort. The freshman scored her second of the week in the 10th minute to make it 2-0, tracking down a bouncing ball before a deflection off her into the net. Her second goal was a thing of beauty, dispossessing a defender outside the box before a few dribbles and a powerful shot past the keeper from just inside the area. Preuss was involved again with Coe's fourth of the afternoon, linking up with Adams for the junior's fourth goal of the campaign.
