WHITEWATER, Wisc. – The Coe College women's soccer team had its three-match winning streak snapped on Saturday afternoon on the road, falling 4-0 to UW-Whitewater. GAME FACTS
- The hosts got things going right from the opening whistle, scoring the opener inside the first five minutes. The Warhawks made it 2-0 just over 10 minutes later, getting their second goal to pad the lead. UWW added one more from a corner kick in the 37th minute, pushing the lead to three. Denise Guerrero had Coe's lone shot of the half in the 45th minute but missed the target to the right. Whitewater put the game away for good in the first few seconds of the second half, scoring the fourth inside the opening minute. Elly Manning registered the Kohawks' second shot of the match and first of the half in the 76th minute but saw her attempt miss left.
