Emily Robison made a handful of saves early on. The hosts capitalized on a wave of pressure in the 21st, taking the lead before adding another before the halftime whistle. Coe managed to keep it a two-goal deficit for a good portion of the second half before conceding three times in quick succession with the Duhawks tallying goals three, four and five in the span of eight minutes.

- Loras forced saves from Robinson in the 12th and 21st minute before scoring the opener. Magdalynne Preuss registered Coe's lone shot on target minutes later in an attempt to tie the game, seeing an effort saved in the 26th minute. Loras doubled its lead in the 30th minute, scoring after a corner kick was awarded to the hosts. Cecillie Monroe made the second half start for Coe, contributing with two saves in the first seven minutes. Loras made it 3-0 from the penalty spot in the 59th and got the fourth on a Kohawk header that misfortunately found the back of the net. The final goal of the match came from another set piece chance with the Duhawks coming up with a bouncing ball and finishing off the scoring.
