DES MOINES, Iowa – The Coe College archery team competed for the first time in its 2025-26 season last weekend at the Grand View Invite, placing third to secure the team's first-ever team competition trophy. Individually, Coe was led by a trio of first-place finishers in Ali Bliss (Women's Barebow), Rowan Hesford (Women's Olympic) and Kevin Arteaga (Men's Olympic) and a second-place effort from Zane Becker-Byrd (Men's Barebow). Sarah Hill also made her collegiate debut in the women's barebow division. Becker-Byrd and Bliss qualified for the mixed team eliminations in barebow and later secured the victory over Grand View in a single-arrow shoot off.
