MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Coe College archery team competed at a nation-wide event over the weekend, taking place at the National Field Archery Association Indoor National Championship. Four Kohawk archers were in action with
Ali Bliss, Lilly Pate, Sarah Hill and
Zane Becker-Byrd representing Coe. All four Kohawks produced successful finishes at the tournament, led by Bliss finishing 10th in flight 1 of the Barebow Recurve Adult Female division with a score of 483, 15x, a new school record performance. Pate was third overall in flight 2 of the same division, registering a score of 444, 6x, a personal best that landed her first in the collegiate flight 2. Hill rounded out Coe's efforts in the Barebow Recurve Adult Female division, placing second in flight 3 with a score of 367, 5x, again a personal best that saw her top the collegiate flight 3. Becker-Byrd finished fifth in the collegiate flight 1 on the men's side, finishing with a score of 307, 2x to take 12th in the overall flight 2.
