ALTOONA, Iowa — The Coe College archery team competed Saturday at the Iowa State Archery Association's National Field Archery Association tournament, competing against top archers from across the state. Five Kohawks earned placement finishes at the tournament with
Ali Bliss taking first-place in the Adult Female Barebow category to lead the team.
Abby Heald and
Sarah Hill also earned placement positions in the discipline, picking up fifth and eighth-place spots to round out Coe's performance in the Adult Female Barebow competition.
Rowan Hesford secured second place in the Adult Female Recurve competition as the lone Kohawk participant while
Zane Becker-Byrd completed the placewinning spots with a fifth-place effort in the Adult Male Barebow discipline.
