Nabarrete secures silver medal in 100 Breaststroke, 200 Medley Relay squad places third on day two of A-R-C Championships

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Freshman swimmer Devyn Nabarrete picked up the Coe College women's swimming & diving team's first all-conference swimming medal of the A-R-C Championships Friday evening at the Coe Natatorium. Nabarrete continued her impressive season in the 100 Breaststroke, placing second with a time of 1:10.18 which is tied for the seventh-fastest time in school history. Nabarrete then swam on Coe's medal-winning relay team in the 200 Medley, joining Hollye Gutierrez, Valerie Gutierrez and Natalie Pirozek to place third in a time of 1:53.42. Pirozek turned in another strong finish in the 400 IM, placing fourth with a personal-best time of 5:00.16 which is also good for seventh in Coe's history.
