CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Coe College women's tennis player Addison Leasure was named the American Rivers Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week Monday afternoon. The freshman from Colorado Springs was 4-2 during the week, helping the Kohawk women to a pair of non-conference victories over North Park and Augustana. Leasure was a perfect 3-0 in singles play, picking up a 6-4, 7-5 win at number two against no. 70 Wheaton before 6-2, 6-2 and 7-5, 6-3 victories over North Park and Augustana. She picked up one win in doubles during the week, going 1-2 with a 7-6 victory against North Park with her partner Alli Hagness. The A-R-C Freshman of the Year is earning her first career player of the week honor.
