WEST DES MOINES, Iowa – The Coe College men's tennis team defeated Simpson College in its final regular season match of 2025, taking down the Storm 7-0 Saturday morning. The Kohawk men opened with a clean sweep in doubles competition as
Luke Doig / Alex Palomar, Isaac Hinze / Harry Hawbaker and
Reed Kruger / Kohen Juelfs handled business with 6-3, 6-2 and 6-2 victories. All six Kohawks remained in the starting lineup for singles play to help complete the sweep, taking down the Storm in straight sets in five of six matches. Hinze was forced to make a comeback at number two for Coe, eliminating a 1-0 set deficit to win 1-6, 6-0, 6-4 as he helped complete the sweep.
