Paige Franzen shoots second-round 76 to finish 24th at Kohawk Invite

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Coe College women's golf team wrapped up its first tournament of 2025 Sunday, playing the final 18 holes of the Kohawk Invite at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course. The Kohawk women were led by freshman Paige Franzen who posted a second-round score of 76, making five birdies on her round including three in a row on holes one, two and three. Madison Connolly was Coe's next top finisher on day two and overall, posting a second-round score of 82 to finish tied for 33rd. Kye Daywitt was one shot behind Connolly in a tie for 37th, finishing her tournament with a round of 84. Lia Maxwell (T39, 88) and Morgan Witte (T53, 90) rounded out the team scoring for the Kohawks while Sydney Stutzel was Coe's top individual with a second-round score of 85 to place 27th. Abigail Mundsinger shaved four strokes off her first-round score and posted an 89 to finish the tournament.
