Daywitt’s opening 81 leads Women’s Golf at Wartburg Fall Invite

WAVERLY, Iowa – The Coe College women's golf team played the first round of the Wartburg College Fall Invite Saturday at Prairie Links. Kye Daywitt posted a team-low round of 81 during the opening 18 holes, carding a pair of birdies on her front nine en route to a nine-hole score of 40. Abigail Mundsinger matched Daywitt's team-low score as an individual, firing an 81 with three birdies and a back-nine 38. Daywitt and Mundsinger are tied for 31st place while Paige Franzen is T43 after a round of 82. Lia Maxwell (83, T50) and Morgan Witte (90, T102) rounded out Coe's day one team scoring, finishing with a total of 336. Sydney Stutzel, competing as Coe's second individual, fired an 86 and sits T82.
