Quincy Drummer Named A-R-C Offensive Football Player of the Week

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Coe College Football junior Quincy Drummer picked up weekly honors from the American Rivers Conference on Monday afternoon, being named the league's offensive player of the week. A Missouri City, Texas native, Drummer continued his impressive junior season on Saturday with over 200 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns as he eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for the year. Coe's tailback rushed for 200 yards on the ground on 19 carries as he averaged 10.5 yards per carry. Drummer registered touchdown runs of one yard, one yard, and 95 yards, displaying his big-play ability. Through the air, he caught just one pass but made another trip to the endzone, securing a dump-off pass from Brady Kelly before juking a handful of defenders and sprinting to paydirt.
