CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Five Coe College wrestlers will begin their quest for glory tomorrow morning at the 2026 NCAA DIII National Tournament in Cedar Rapids at the Alliant Energy Powerhouse with
Brayden Parke, Dresden Grimm, Bo Koedam, Jean Ngoma and
Wyatt Smith set to represent the Kohawks on the grand stage. Parke enters as the 11th seed at 125 after racking up 23 wins during the year with nine falls, six techs and four major decisions. The sophomore is a returning all-American from 2025 where he finished fifth and will face sixth-seeded Matt Griffin (27-5) of TCNJ in the opening round. Grimm is ninth in the 141-pound bracket, starting with a matchup with Hayden Myers of Wesleyan (CT) who has dropped just one match in his senior season. Koedam is coming off a regional title at 165 pounds, earning the ninth seed at the national tournament. The freshman will face off against Jack Richardson (27-2) of Johnson & Wales who got the better of Koedam in a matchup at the NWCA national duals. Ngoma was runner up at the regional championships at 197 pounds but will have to come from the pigtail rounds, facing off with AJ Frescura (29-10) of North Central for the right to enter the championship bracket. Smith also starts his championship in the pigtail rounds, taking on Cayden Bell (11-6) of Alma for a spot in the top 16. The opening session begins tomorrow morning, Friday, March 13 at the downtown arena in Cedar Rapids with the preliminary rounds one and two and the consolation first round. Session II follows Friday evening at 5 PM with the championship quarterfinals and the consolation second and third rounds wrap up day one. Session III begins Saturday, March 14 at 10 AM with the championship semifinals, consolation quarterfinals, consolations semifinals and the 3rd, 5th and 7th place matches. The championship closes Saturday evening with 7 PM with the finals, culminating the championships before the awards presentation.
