DES MOINES, Iowa – The Coe College men's golf team wrapped up the 2026 American Rivers Conference Championships on Tuesday morning, shooting a final round 314, its best 18-hole team score of the tournament. Coe was led by
Lane Pierson and
Mitchell Katz, who finished the tournament inside the top-20. Pierson, a senior from Freeport, Illinois, posted a two-under closing nine to vault up the leaderboard into a tie for 17th. He made back-to-back birdies and was at three-under through eight before closing with a bogey for a final round of 75. Katz placed 19th overall after a three-day total of 234 as the freshman closed out the championships with his second straight 80.
Sam Scully was the final Kohawk to place inside the top-30 individually, firing a third-round 77 to place 25th overall.
Jackson Pipho and
Tyler Santi finished off Coe's performances for the championship, posting 54-hole scores of 244 and 252 to place T35 and 40th overall.
