CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The American Rivers Conference announced its 2026 Softball postseason awards Wednesday afternoon, honoring five Kohawks in the release.
Natalie Hitt, Maddie Harris, Grace McCarty, Marisa Vodicka and
Irelynd Cejka were honored in the all-conference release as Coe tied for the third-most selections across the league. Hitt led the way, being named first-team all-conference, while Harris, McCarty and Vodicka rounded out the selections with second-team honors. Cejka finished off the postseason awards for Coe, earning honorable mention recognition.
Hitt, a junior from Davenport, turned in an impressive season for Coe as a key two-way player. She did most of her damage in the circle, posting a 3.02 ERA and a 4-4 record for the Kohawks as the team's top pitcher. Hitt logged 53.1 innings and went the distance six times while limiting opponents to a .278 batting average in 216 ABs.
Harris, McCarty and Vodicka were instrumental figures for the Kohawks in a bounce-back season, each posting averages over .310 to bolster the offense. McCarty hit .372 in conference play, a team-high, while adding four doubles and 16 walks as she finished with a .542 on-base percentage. Harris was just behind with a .352 average, totaling a team-best 26 bases in league play while driving home 13 runs. Vodicka picked up the final all-conference selection for the Kohawks, posting a .314 batting average with 16 hits, including four doubles and a homer. The senior also posted a .932 fielding percentage at second base, making just four errors in 59 chances while helping turn a pair of double plays.
Cejka was the final player to earn postseason honors for Coe, ending her freshman season with a .353 average and a 1.097 OPS in 13 starts. Cejka had 12 hits, including four doubles and two homers hile finishing the conference schedule with a .450 on-base percentage.
