CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Coe College softball senior Maddie Harris earned regional recognition last week, being named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Region IX All-Region team. The Peosta native finished her career in style, helping Coe to a 25-win season and an appearance in the A-R-C tournament semifinals. Harris hit .423 overall and had an OPS of 1.105, with 16 doubles, five triples, and one homer, while driving in a team-high 39 runs. A mainstay at first base, Harris also had a .989 fielding percentage with just three errors in 272 chances.
