PELLA, Iowa — The Coe College men's track & field team concluded competition at the 2026 American Rivers Conference Outdoor Championships, finishing with a total of 25 points to place eighth overall. Freshman Jaden Royal took the headlines for Coe with an all-conference effort in the triple jump, placing third overall with a leap of 13.97m, less than .10m behind the top finisher. Talon Sargent and LaRon Donald joined Royal with outstanding individual efforts, each claiming a pair of point-scoring finishes on Saturday. Sargent secured top-eight places in the 100m and 200m, placing sixth and seventh, respectively, to claim a total of five team points for Coe. Donald showed his versatility with a point-scoring finish on the track and on the field, placing sixth in the 400m Hurdles and eighth in the triple jump for a total of four team points. Coe's 4x100 relay team rounded out a strong day of competition for the Kohawks, posting a fourth-place effort as Terrence Morris, Isaiah Morgan, Vic Johnson and Sargent turned in a time of 42.48.
