DECORAH, Iowa - The Coe College men's soccer team ended its 2022 season on Tuesday evening, falling 5-0 to Luther College. The Kohawks held the Norse scoreless for the opening 20-plus minutes but the hosts started the scoring around the midway mark of the first half. Luther would add two more goals in the first half and quickly extend its lead to five less than 10 minutes into the second. Coe threatened to get on the board following the outburst from Luther, recording a pair of shots on goal but neither attempt was able to beat the keeper. Coe ends the season with a 2-14-1 record overall and a 1-7 mark in the A-R-C while Luther moves to 10-3-5 and 4-0-4 in the league.

- Luther started the match on top, testing Kohawk keeper Max Twight two times in the opening 15 minutes but the sophomore shot-stopper made both plays. The Norse scored the opener less than 10 minutes later, taking a 1-0 lead on a goal from Luis Figueroa in the 24th minute. The lead was doubled in the 38th minute, with the Norse making it 2-0 on an individual effort from Ben Bolte. Luther quickly made it 3-0 before the end of the first, scoring just over a minute later to put the contest out of reach. The Norse added two more in the first few minutes of the second period, scoring in the 51st and 52nd minute.
