JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The Coe College men's soccer team dropped its final non-conference match of the season at Illinois College on Tuesday, falling 3-0 on the road. The Kohawks fell victim to another early goal in the match, conceding just 59 seconds into the match as the Blue Boys raced out to a quick advantage. The hosts would add two more goals in the first half, one in the eighth minute and one in the 42nd minute. Coe continued to press, racking up nine shots and four attempts on target but the Kohawks were unable to penetrate the Illinois College defense. The loss drops Coe to 1-8-1 on the season while Illinois College improves to 6-3-1 overall.

- The Blue Boys quickly got in front, scoring on the first shot of the contest just 59 seconds in. Coe battled back quickly, earning a corner in the fourth minute which ended with no attempt on target. The hosts added to their lead just a few minutes after Coe's corner, scoring in the eighth minute to go ahead 2-0. The Kohawks and Blue Boys went back and forth over the next 25-plus minutes of the until Coe's Josue Flores-Lopez struck the bar with a shot for the Kohawks in the 36th. Illinois College put the game out of reach just prior to the half, scoring the final goal of the match in the 42nd minute.
