STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Coe College men's soccer team scored three second-half goals on the road at Buena Vista on Tuesday evening, defeating the Beavers 3-0 for the team's second-straight American Rivers Conference victory. The Kohawks piled on the pressure from the opening minutes of the match, totaling 25 shots in the match with 12 attempts on target. Coe opened the scoring with a penalty in the 62nd which
Ian Kearney converted for his team-leading 11th goal. The Kohawks later added two goals in just over a minute with
Jonathan Williams scoring from a direct free kick seconds before
Ethan Eliaquim Braga Farias made it 3-0 to wrap up the victory.

GAME FACTS
- The Kohawks had 14 shots in the opening 45 minutes, forcing four saves from the BVU keeper. Juan Suarez forced the first stop just eight minutes in and was followed less than three minutes later by Kearney who tested the keeper. Kearney and Sebastian Pena each had one more shot on net before the end of the first half but neither found the back of the net. Coe had an early penalty attempt in the second half but failed to convert as once again the opposition keeper made a strong save. The Kohawks were awarded another spot kick later on in the half and this time converted as Kearney scored to make it 1-0. Williams then added his fourth goal of the season, scoring from a set piece opportunity after a foul in the attacking area. Eliaquim Braga Farias then wrapped up the match just over a minute later, extending the lead to 3-0 in the 81st.
