DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Coe College men's soccer team dropped its final road match of the 2023 campaign on Saturday evening, falling 1-0 at Loras College. The Kohawks and Duhawks felt eachother out in the early going, with neither team forcing a save until the 20th minute. The hosts took the lead a few minutes later, registering the lone goal of the contest in the 25th minute. Coe finished the first half well but could not capitalize, seeing a trio of shots saved in the final 10 minutes of the period. Loras regained momentum early in the second half, peppering the Kohawk net with shots. The visitors again closed the second period on top but failed to register a shot on target as Loras secured the 1-0 victory.

GAME FACTS
- Coe had 14 shots in the match but only found the target three times, all in the first half. Loras had 26 total attempts, forcing six saves from Jr. Holland who brought his season total to 40. The Duhawks scored with their fourth attempt and first on target, scoring moments after their third corner kick in five minutes. Juan Suarez and Jonathan Williams were the Kohawks' best chances to score, recording three shots on target in the final minutes of the first. Coe pushed again late in the second half for the equalizer, racking up five shots and a corner in a three-minute span just before the final whistle.
