DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Coe College men's soccer team suffered its second-straight American Rivers Conference defeat on Wednesday evening, dropping a 1-0 on the road at the University of Dubuque. Coe and Dubuque played a scoreless opening half, each forcing a few saves from the opposing keeper. The hosts found the breakthrough in the 61st minute, scoring the game's lone goal just moments after a Coe corner. The Kohawks pushed for an equalized over the final 20-plus minutes but the team's lone shot during the stretch came up empty.

- Sebastian Pena had the first chance of the game just under seven minutes in, putting a shot on target that was saved by the UD keeper. Coe tallied two more shots before the game reached the 25th minute, keeping the Spartans without an attempt until the 27th minute. Juan Saurez forced another save from the Spartans late in the period, firing an attempt on target that was saved in the 40th minute. The Kohawks forced two more saves in the early moments of the second half as Jonathan Williams fired a pair of shots that were both saved. UD scored with its first shot of the half in the 61st minute, tallying the game's lone goal against the run of play.
