DECORAH, Iowa - The Coe College men's golf team wrapped up play in its final tournament of the regular season on Monday, shooting a second-round score of 308 to finish in a tie for second place at the Luther Spring Classic. The Kohawks followed up a solid opening round with more of the same on Monday, seeing all but one player card sub-80 rounds to earn the second-place finish.
Lucas Geiger shaved one score off his opening round score and posted a 75 in round two, using four birdies for a three-over par round.
Alec Brockmeyer was Coe's second-highest finisher, backing up an opening round of 76 with a 79 on Monday to earn a tie for 15th.
Collin Brockmeyer and
Sam Scully tied for 19th with totals of 156 while
James Carsrud, Gavin Jennings and
Matt Lawton all finished T26 with final scores of 158. Luther took home the team and individual titles as Jay Fjelstul won individual medalist honors with a final score of four-under par.
