WAVERLY, Iowa - The Coe College men's golf team turned in the third-lowest 18-hole team score in school history on Tuesday afternoon at the Wartburg College Shootout, firing a total score of 292, just three strokes shy of tying the school record. The Kohawks fell to the Knights in the team dual as the hosts posted a final score of 289.
Alec Brockmeyer tied for second place on the individual leaderboard, posting a one-under par 71 to finish two shots back of the leader.
Lucas Geiger and
Sam Scully each fired a one-over 73 on the day while
Collin Brockmeyer rounded out the team scoring with a three-over par 75. Coe's second team finished with a total of 312 with
C. Reece Breitenbach, Gavin Jennings and
Matt Lawton carding sub-80 rounds.
