WAVERLY, Iowa - The Coe College men's golf team shaved 15 strokes from its first-round score on Saturday, posting a team total of 294 in the second round of the Wartburg Fall Invite. The Kohawks, who finished fifth on the team leaderboard, were led by
Sam Scully and
Collin Brockmeyer who finished T19 and T21 respectively. Brockmeyer made an impressive jump from day one where he shot 82, posting a second-round score of three-under, 69. Scully posted his second-straight sub 80 round of the tournament, firing a 76 for a total of 150.
C. Reece Breitenbach fired the third-lowest score of the day, vaulting up the leaderboard with a 73 on Saturday.
Wyatt Pfeiffer was the top individual for the Kohawks, following his opening round 76 with a 72 on Saturday to finish in a tie for 11th place.
