CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College men's golf team opened its Spring season on Friday at the Wartburg Invite.
Sam Scully and
C. Reece Breitenbach led the Kohawk men on the opening day, carding rounds of 76 and 79 respectively. Scully, who is just four shots back of the individual leader, is sitting in a tie for 10th while Breitenbach is tied for 17th.
Collin Brockmeyer, Lucas Geiger and
Alec Brockmeyer rounded out the team scores for the Kohawks, finishing the opening 18 holes with rounds of 79, 79 and 80. In the team standings, Coe sits in fifth place, just three shots back of fourth-place Wartburg and 13 shots off the current leaders Hawkeye Community College.
