WAVERLY, Iowa – Sam Scully shot a round of two-over-par 74 on Thursday, leading the Coe men's golf team in a dual at Wartburg College. Scully was only one shot behind the individual medalist, Josh Nichols, who edged Scully and fellow Knight Nick Lechtenberg with a 73.

Lane Pierson also carded sub-80 rounds for the Kohawks, firing 18-hole marks of 76 and 78 to finish sixth and T7 respectively.
C. Reece Breitenbach rounded out the team scoring for Coe, posting a 10-over round of 82 to finish T14. The Kohawks finished with a team total of 311 strokes, 12 behind the Knights.
