DUBUQUE, Iowa – Coe College men's golfers Matt Lawton and Sam Scully fired matching 36-hole scores of 156 at the Loras College Invite over the last two days, finishing in a tie for 17th place to lead the team. Lawton and Scully each posted a pair of rounds in the 70s, opening with 79 and 78 respectively before second round scores of 77 and 78. C. Reece Breitenbach was third in the pecking order, finishing tied for 22nd after a two-day total of 158. The sophomore opened with a 77 but shot 81 on Monday to fall outside the top 20. Lane Pierson concluded the team scoring for the men, posting a 36-hole score of 162 to finish T35.
